Commportal Phone Application 

Picture This: You want a phone that can make calls, get calls, transfer calls, put people on hold, and listen to voicemail. We’ve got you covered. We’ve been in the telephone business for over 65 years – we like to think it’s our specialty. Anything you could do on your old PBX, you can do on a hosted system. Our Hosted Voice system does so much more than deliver these tools, though.

 A virtual duplicate of your phone is available through CommPortal, which allows you to change and edit your quick-keys without ever having to touch the actual set.

CommPortal Communicator

Picture this: You’re on a business trip. You check into your hotel room, and realize you need to make a call to a colleague, but the phone number is on your desk phone. Because you have CommPortal Communicator, you can simply log onto the softphone on your PC or tablet, click-to-dial, and complete the call. The softphone is a small piece of software that installs on your PC, and gives you the ability to make and receive phones calls, just as you would from your desk phone, forever changing the way you do business when out of the office.

CommPortal Assistant 

Picture this: You are in and out of the office from day to day. You have a work number, a work cell phone, and a personal cell phone. With CommPortal Assistant, rather than giving any one person three separate numbers to try, you give them one. On the back end, you’ve set up your phone to ring through to your cell phone in the event that you don’t answer your desk extension — without the caller having to hang up and try your cell. You can also set up individual numbers to always ring given numbers. For example, your spouse’s phone number can be set to always ring all your numbers at once, whereas all other callers would only ring your office extension or work cell. This is only one scenario, but goes to show how endless the features are.
